Gkoura spring is located in Mt. Parnitha there is a stream, the stream of Gkoura, which has a special beauty. Gifted with dense vegetation, its main part starts from the Pan's cave and ends at the Monastery of Kleiston in Fyli. The stream usually has enough water and one can swim, where natural lakes are formed. In summer the water is scarce and some months there is no water at all. It has a total of 16 rappels and is suitable for everyone!
Gkoura gorge combines River Trekking and hiking in the gorge thanks to its long length (4.5 km), while during spring season has plenty of running water, that makes it ideal for jumps and slides on natural pedestals.
Do not forget that Gkoura is a historic gorge for those involved in canyoning, as it is one of the first, if not the first, canyoning descents in Greece!
