Embark on a 10-day adventure to the beautiful islands of the Dodecanese! Explore Greece’s gems with friends and have the time of your life!

This Teen Adventure: Rhodes, Symi & Kastellorizo takes you to one of the most extraordinary areas in Greece, the Dodecanese islands! With better known Rhodes as our base, we will have a chance to explore more enigmatic and off-the-beaten-path islands of this complex, like atmospheric Symi and secluded Kastellorizo.

Awe-inspiring views of pastel-colored mansions built amphitheatrically above the harbor of Symi await, as we approach this little gem of an island. This place is a must for the most stunning pictures! Last, but definitely not least… Kastellorizo. Located in the far, far east of Greece, it is one of the most “off the beaten path” destinations. Known also as Castello Rosso or Megisti it is insanely pretty. Neoclassical houses, turquoise waters, and an amazing sea cave await to be explored! A short boat ride will take us to the “Galazio Spilaio” (the Blue Cave), the biggest and most spectacular of all sea caves in Greece. It is known worldwide for its rich “decoration” of stalactites and is a protected natural reserve for sea turtles, and seals. The reflections of sun rays on the water light the stalactites creating the most unique spectacle. If we are lucky we will also spot the monachus monachus seals or sea turtles that live in the area.

Cycling Tour in Rhodes

This is the perfect day for cycling!

After our breakfast, we will cycle through the main attractions of Rhodes Town. Starting from the seaside and the two main ports, we will explore the ancient fortresses, the windmills, and the statues of the two deers protecting the town of Rhodes. Next, we will enter the magnificent old town, a Unesco Heritage Monument City, and also pass by the Moat that surrounds the area.

After our cycling tour, a refreshing swim in Elli beach is in order! Elli beach is popular thanks to its big trampoline, which promises some awesome jumps!

The rest of the afternoon is free to relax and have dinner in town.

Boat trip to Lindos

Today we will cruise the Mediterranean! We will hop on the ferry from the dock of Mandraki, close to our hotel.

From our ferry, we will have the chance to admire the Medieval Town and fortification of the old town of Rhodes from a different angle! Onboard, we will relax and take in some sun until we reach the infamous bays, like Anthony Quinn’s Bay & Tsambika. There we can swim and also snorkel while exploring the rich seabed.

Then, back on the ferry for a short trip to Lindos! One of the highlights of this trip.

In Lindos, we will have a whole three hours to explore the village, optionally visit the archaeological site of Lindos and also the famous St Paul’s Bay.

After our tasteful lunch, in the early afternoon, we will hop on the ferry back to Rhodes city.

A well-deserved dinner in town is in order!

Sea Kayaking Day

After a lazy morning and yummy lunch, we start our afternoon with a short drive to Kathara Beach in Faliraki.

After a short walk through the necessary tips & tricks as well as all safety rules, we start paddling along the East Coast of Rhodes. Riding our sea kayaks allows us to see three of the most beautiful beaches of Rhodes. Breathtaking rock formations and the stunning colors of the Mediterranean Sea is our setting for the day. Along the route we will not miss the opportunity to plunge into these beautiful waters, direct from your kayak – a once in a lifetime experience!

After paddling back to Kathara beach, we return back to the city and enjoy a well-deserved dinner.

Boat trip to Symi Island

Today, it’s time to tick off one more thing on our Greek Islands’ bucket list! Symi – the so-called “Princess of the Dodecanese Islands due to its colorful houses, lush forests, and cosmopolitan atmosphere.

Starting off from Rhodes, we will hop on the ferry with destination: Symi! We will enjoy the views and absolutely gorgeous scenery and make several stops on the way to visit the Panormitis Monastery and swim in the turquoise waters of St’ George bay.

Once there, in the main village of Symi, we will go for a nice stroll and take amazing pictures of the area, and then we will enjoy a homemade lunch.

If we are lucky, we might have dolphins accompany us on our trip back to Rhodes city.

Mouthwatering dinner in town follows in the evening to wrap up a great day!

Cooking & learning about the local products & visit a horse sanctuary

After some days well spent in the sea, it’s time to explore Rhodes’ amazing villages. We will drive to Apollona village in central Rhodes.

We will first stop for a quick tour of an agricultural co-op and learn how these proud, resourceful women run the enterprise. They will share their decisions, goals, and a demonstration of local delicacy production with you.

From there, on foot, we will visit the folklore museum and discover what life was like for locals in the centuries past. Admire the traditional costumes, architecture, and more as we take a glimpse on how the people lived and worked as well as the industries of the time such as the inner workings of an olive factory.

The highlight of the tour will be a personal cooking class from a mama cook in the village who will share her secrets in making traditional, famous Greek fare including tzatziki, eggplant salad, and world-famous Greek salad. Learn how to make dolmadakia, Greek cheese pies, and many more delights!

At the end of our lesson, we will all enjoy a homemade lunch that all of us cooks have lovingly prepared.

In the afternoon we will visit Phaethon – Rhodes Small Horses Association located in another typical Rhodian Village. We will learn about the special breed of these unique horses and help if needed the association with their daily chores.

Boat trip to Kastellorizo Island

Today is dedicated to a legendary island and eastern tip of Greece.

KastellorizoCastello Rosso or Megisti as it is also known– awaits for us to explore it!

This tiny island has the most amazing hidden sea cave ever found in Europe. Amazingly it is 40 – 50 metres long, 25 – 30 metres wide & 20 – 25 metres high. After a short motorboat ride, we reach its tiny entrance, we will swim in, and explore this amazing blue grotto. The light of the sun reflects in the interior of the cave, thereby producing a dazzling azure colour. Words cannot describe the scenery – we can only hope our photos will! Today we are not alone as sea turtles abound in this area, so be sure to keep an eye out for them!

After our visit, it is again time to indulge in a delicious lunch, this time in the quiet village of Kastellorizo, overlooking the Turkish Coast. After our leisurely lunch, we head back to Rhodes.

*If weather conditions are not favourable for the trip to Kastellorizo, we will arrange a trip to the nearby island of Chalki.
