Arachova is a mountain village, on the slopes of Mount Parnassos, mainly built of stone houses, narrow streets, and springs. Despite its huge tourist growth due to the ski resort, its heritage has been well preserved. The region is famous for its agriculture, cattle breeding, and boasts high-quality local products like olives and olive oil, tsipouro, formaella & feta cheese, yogurt and noodles. Arachova is also famous for its handmade, pure woolen textiles, which are made using traditional looms and natural colors. Our local guide will take you for a dynamic walk in narrow picturesque streets and share with you all about tradition but also modern life in this Greek village.

17:00                   Meet your guide in the center of Arachova village

17:00 – 17:30   Visit Arachova Folklore Museum, the rock of the hour, hike to the lower part of the village

17:30 – 18:00   Visit St Giannis chapel and walk the older alleys of the village

18:00 – 18:30   Walk up the 265 stone stairs to St George Church and the old wash-house

18:30 – 19:00   Hike in the upper part of the village
