Aoos Lake is a very beautiful artificial lake at an altitude of 1.350 meters, right in the heart of Pindos mountain range. It is located in the broader area of Ioannina city and lies between two important National Parks, Valia Calda and the Vikos – Aoos Natural Park. This is an area of great natural beauty.

Starting from the east side of the lake, we paddle along the shore so as to admire the unique and ‎impressive Black Pines (Pinus Nigra) that typically grow in the broader area of the Valia Calda National Park. After a short ‎visit to the nearby islet for a picnic and some rest, we paddle back to our ‎starting point.‎
