Tour overview

Kalavryta Snowshoeing! Snowshoe around one of the most famous Ski Resorts of Southern Greece!

Highlights

  • Walking in snowy fir forests
  • Opportunity to choose your route on the spot at 1,700 meters altitude!
  • Spectacular views of the Corinthian Gulf

We meet our guide at the Kalavryta ski resort at an altitude of 1,700 meters. After a small briefing, we have the opportunity to choose between two routes:

  1. North side of Styga

From the base of the ski resort, we head downhill, towards the Alpine region of Xerokambos. We enjoy the spectacular views of the Corinthian Gulf and the surrounding mountain tops of the rest of the Peloponnese, as well as the mountain range of Mainland Greece towards the North.

  1. Deep in the fir forest

From the base of the ski resort, we follow the cross country ski route, through a dense fir forest. The snow covered  trails provide a serene and  peaceful feeling of the calmness of the mountains. At the end of either route we choose, we will enjoy a traditional picnic with a warm beverage. For the Kalavryta Snowshoeing we may arrange, upon request, a pick up or drop off transfer to / from your establishment at an extra cost.

Trekking Hellas offers a variety of activities in Kalavryta and the Peloponnese, like the  Vouraikos Cog Railway Hike or the Off Road Tour in Mt Chelmos. In close proximity to Kalavryta in the region of Arcadia you can enjoy Rafting and Hiking in Lousios Gorge. Our tours  can be incorporated in our multi day adventures likes our Active and Culture Tour in the Peloponnese.
