Sailing in the Small Cyclades! A short 3 day/2 night program around small and authentic Greek Islands.
The Greek islands are a true “mecca” for sailing holidays! If you are a sailing enthusiast and wish to enjoy less touristy and magical beautiful beaches, join us on our sailing cruise. We will embark on the island of Naxos, easily accessible by ferry or plane and strategically located in the middle of the Cyclades. A great base to start our exploration of the small archipelago.
Our Sailing in the Small Cyclades tour focuses on sailing, but we highly recommend to spend a day or two to explore Naxos. Naxos, the biggest of the Cyclades Islands! It features imposing mountain massifs and fertile valleys. Naxos is inhabited by warm and hospitable people. Their deep rooted local tradition in music and local dances enchants any visitor.
Naxos is packed with history and culture. It has been the source of artistic inspiration i.e. ‘Ariadne auf Naxos’ (by Richard Strauss), mythical heroes and tales. Important historical monuments. Beautiful sandy beaches and turquoise waters. Towers and forts, ancient temples and great villages you can easily spend a week exploring this magical island. Naxos is also renowned for its great potatoes and Naxian gruyere which you will have the chance to taste in delicious recipes that you will taste.
Our Sailing in the Small Cyclades tour is totally customizable and can be extended with more days or islands. It is also a perfect pre- or post option to be combined with other trips like Greece in a Nutshell , our Greek Islands Multisport Adventures , or our Active & Culture Tour in Santorini.

Our joyful crew will welcome you in the marina of Naxos and as soon as you settle let’s set sail ! Our destination is Pano Koufonissi. This island is very famous for its postcard beaches, white sand and turquoise waters. We will spend the night there, in the port, at a walking distance of the best taverns and bars. On our way, we will enjoy a swimming stop to Kato Koufonissi, an uninhabited island with beautiful swimming-pool-like bays.
After we wake up and enjoy our breakfast in the serenity of the Aegean sea, we set off to Schinoussa, a beautiful island known to be a great place for super yachts to hide from the press. The island is also famous for its food. On our way, we will drop the anchor in Rina bay, on the south coast of Naxos to see a beautiful cave and swim, snorkel and explore. We will spend the night at Schinoussa’s port, not far from the main town (100 inhabitants).
We will set sail to Iraklia, another beautiful island of the archipelago to explore. We will drop the anchor in a bay accessible only by boat in a protected area where an airplane wreck is lying by 6 meters depth. Unbelievable swimming there! After lunch, we will set sail back to Naxos.
