The hike begins with a trail through a new forest of black pine trees. The trail joins sections of the old trail that the inhabitants of the surrounding villages used to transport goods with their animals. The vegetation is varied, with maple, fir, oak, cedar, and black pine being the most common. In the middle of the trail, we will pass through the impressive "enchanted forest", with towering black pine trees wrapped in ivy, and a dense cluster of "red pine", Pinus Sylvestris, the southernmost cluster in Europe! The hike returns on the same trail to end back at the meeting point.
