A fascinating off-road adventure awaits you to discover the foothills of northwest Olympus, remote beautiful locations with the impressive peaks of the mountain nearby you.

A magical journey into the...unknown side of this mythical mountain.

We will start our adventure with a walk in the beautiful streets of Kokkinopilos at 1.100m admiring the high peaks of Olympus literally hanging over us. Following the dirt road to Xerolaki we gradually enter the beautiful forest of Kokkinopilos full of streams, springs and fountains. Among the pine and fir forest, we will encounter meadows full of flowers overlooking the mountain.

Once we arrive at the famous fountains of Tsoureka and Papazisis, we will stop to drink from their crystal-clear waters and enjoy the beautiful nature that surrounds us.

We turn now to the road that leads to the beautiful yet wild area Xerolakiou, where Olympus discloses all its grandeur with the three highest peaks of Mitikas (2918m), Skolio (2911m) and Stefani (2908m) in a magical landscape. We follow the road until we reach the Caves Nahum, the natural entrance to the Megala Kazania where we leave the cars to hike to the caves.
