Loutraki Sea kayak from Lake to Sea, Temple of Hera

Our adventure begins at the peaceful Lake Vouliagmeni, a beautiful lagoon connected to the sea by a narrow natural channel. After a short introduction to the equipment and basic paddling techniques, we start our kayaking journey across the calm waters of the lake and head toward the Corinthian Gulf.

Paddling along the coastline, you will admire the dramatic cliffs of Heraion and the crystal-clear waters of the area. Along the way, we make a stop for swimming near the ancient Temple of Hera, one of the most important archaeological sites of ancient Greece, located right by the sea.

The route continues beneath the historic Melagavi Lighthouse, offering breathtaking views of the Corinthian Gulf and the surrounding coastal landscape.
