Orlias River Trekking

In the east of Olympus, near Dion, lies a hidden paradise—Rema Orlia. Legend tells of the ancient river Orlias, which disappeared in shame for refusing to purify the Mainades. It reemerged outside Dion, forming picturesque waterfalls. Rema Orlia is a perennial stream, a hidden gem in the heart of Olympus.

The Rema Orlia River Trekking adventure starts with a 50-minute walk from the Saints Constantine and Helen chapel. Following this, the trail runs parallel to the "Orlia" stream, offering a picturesque path with flowing water throughout. The trek concludes at the iconic "Red Rock," an 18-meter waterfall where you can refresh in its icy waters. Afterward, we backtrack along the same route, enjoying dives in the plunge pools of Orlias.
