Rafting in Acherontas

It is a water route of 15klm with duration of 5-6 hours. Our beginning spot is the Bridge of Sertziana and our ending spot is Glyki.

At the first 3 kilometers, the river is flowing in a meandering way to continue to the narrow Canyon of the Gates of Hades. The route Rafting in Acherontas is characterized from continuous passages of 3rd and 4th level of difficulty. We meet stairs, S, press water to end up finally in calm waters. Arriving at the end of our route, we meet the Tsagkarioriko stream coming from Souli and Mylo of Ntala villages. Right after, we pass by the Stair of Tzavelaina, the historical path that united the west seaside of Preveza with Souli. Due to the narrowness of the canyon, the descend is not implemented with Rafting boats but with monoraft or Hot dog. 

Every monoraft has a Rafting driver certified by the International Federation of Rafting.
