Trekking Hellas was thrilled to take part in AdventureELEVATE Europe 2026 in Catalunya, one of the Adventure Travel Trade Association’s (ATTA) flagship events, bringing together a vibrant mix of leaders, destinations, tour operators and innovators from across the European adventure travel world.
But AdventureELEVATE was so much more than a typical industry event. It felt like a gathering of friends from around the globe, a place where connections happened naturally, stories were shared over hikes and meals, and business conversations blended effortlessly with genuine human moments. There was a special energy in the air, where people bonded over a shared love for meaningful travel and the outdoors.
As a long-standing member of the ATTA global network, Trekking Hellas has always been actively involved in its initiatives, contributing to knowledge sharing, best practices and the growth of responsible adventure tourism. Being part of AdventureELEVATE is a natural extension of this relationship, and a chance to reconnect with a community that values collaboration, trust and positive impact.
The event in Catalunya offered a rich and inspiring programme, from thought-provoking keynote sessions and hands-on workshops to plenty of opportunities for meaningful networking. Topics like sustainability, climate resilience, destination stewardship and the evolving expectations of modern travellers sparked engaging conversations throughout the event. And of course, there were plenty of chances to get outdoors and experience the region firsthand, creating shared memories that go far beyond the conference setting.
For Trekking Hellas, it was a wonderful opportunity not only to exchange ideas and explore new trends, but also to strengthen relationships with partners who share our passion for high-quality, responsible travel. It was also a great moment to showcase Greece as a year-round adventure destination, full of natural beauty, rich culture and authentic local experiences.
