Located just 1.5 hours from Thessaloniki, we offer a comprehensive 6-hour program that includes a visit to the Information Center, a boat ride through the wetland, and birdwatching.
The day begins with a visit to the Lake Information Center, where students engage in an interactive learning session about the lake’s unique ecosystem, its rare bird species, and the role of humans in preserving biodiversity.
Next comes the highlight of the day: a peaceful boat ride on the lake’s calm waters aboard traditional flat-bottomed boats. During the journey, students can observe Dalmatian pelicans, herons, and water buffalo in their natural habitat—experiencing nature with all their senses.
*As an additional activity, and upon prior arrangement, birdwatching sessions can be included if the trip is extended.
