Starting from the Olympus National Park Information Center, students are introduced to the concept of environmental awareness through interactive presentations and hands-on learning. During the visit, they learn about the rare flora and fauna of Mount Olympus, the importance of protecting national parks, and the natural ecosystem of the region. The approach is tailored to different age groups to ensure it remains engaging and understandable for everyone.
The hike through the Enipeas Gorge and the visit to the old monastery of Saint Dionysios offer a gentle and safe exploration of the nature and history of Mount Olympus, fostering observation skills, teamwork, and respect for the environment and cultural heritage.
