Overview

Get ready for a 2-day adventure, exploration, and action-filled program in Delphi and the northern slopes of Mount Parnassus, designed for students who love nature, outdoor activities, and new experiences!

The adventure begins with a journey to Delphi, one of Greece’s most important archaeological and natural destinations. After arriving and settling into the hotel, students will have the opportunity to explore the area’s impressive natural surroundings through an afternoon hike along the Ancient Footpath of Delphi. The route offers a unique opportunity to connect with nature while combining exercise, exploration, and breathtaking views of the Delphi landscape.

On the second day, the adventure moves to the northern slopes of Mount Parnassus, in the area of Lilaia, where students will discover the exciting world of rock climbing. After a short hike to the climbing area, participants will be introduced to the basic safety rules and techniques of the activity before putting their skills to the test on the rock face. Working in small teams and encouraging one another, students will experience the excitement of climbing while developing confidence, communication, and teamwork.

The day continues with a picnic in nature followed by more rock climbing, before beginning the journey back to Athens.

This program is indicative and can be flexibly adapted to the needs and characteristics of each group. Activities can be added, removed, or modified depending on the participants’ age, group dynamics, and level of experience, as well as the weather conditions during the period of implementation. Our goal is for every program to offer a safe, enjoyable, and meaningful experience for everyone.

All our programs are carried out in accordance with the applicable guidelines and required safety measures. The safety of our participants, leaders, and accompanying staff is always our absolute priority.

Activities / Schedule

Day 1: Arrival at Delphi-Ancient Footpath of Delphi Hike

Our adventure begins with our departure from school and our journey to Delphi, one of Greece’s most impressive destinations, located at the foot of Mount Parnassus. Upon arrival, we will transfer to the hotel, where we will check in and settle into our rooms.

In the afternoon, we will begin exploring the area through an exciting hiking route along the Ancient Footpath of Delphi. Away from the routines of everyday life, we will walk through the area’s unique mountainous landscape, enjoying nature, tranquility, and breathtaking views.

The hike offers a unique opportunity to discover Delphi from a different perspective, combining exercise, exploration, and a close connection with the natural environment.

After completing the route, we will return to the hotel, where we will have some time to rest and relax, as the following day will be filled with action and adventure.

Day 2: Mount Parnassus: Introduction to Rock Climbing & picnic-Departure

The second day begins with breakfast at the hotel and check-out, before we set off towards Kokkini Stegi in Lilaia, on the northern slopes of Mount Parnassus. A unique outdoor experience awaits us, filled with action, challenge, and teamwork.

Upon arrival, we will leave the bus and follow a short hike through the natural surroundings to reach the climbing area. Before the activity begins, students will be introduced to the basic safety rules and techniques of rock climbing, preparing the group for the exciting challenge ahead.

Then, divided into small teams, students will put their skills to the test through rock climbing, tackling different routes while encouraging and supporting one another. The activity requires concentration, confidence, communication, and teamwork, offering students an exciting and rewarding experience in nature.

After the first climbing session, we will enjoy a picnic at the site, surrounded by the beautiful mountainous landscape of Mount Parnassus. The adventure will then continue with more rock climbing in small teams, giving everyone the opportunity to participate, challenge themselves, and overcome new personal challenges.

Once the activities are completed, we will hike back to the bus parking area before beginning our journey back to Athens, bringing to an end two unforgettable days filled with nature, adventure, exercise, and memorable experiences.
