Arrival in Rhodes

After your arrival at Diagoras international airport you will meet your private arranged transfer vehicle to Rhodes Town where the hotel is located.

In the afternoon, you will meet the local trip leader at the hotel’s reception who will provide necessary information for your week in Greece.

Later, you will all together set off for an evening walk with a professional guide to explore the Medieval Town of Rhodes, a UNESCO heritage monument city. You will also have the opportunity to visit the Palace of the Grand Master and the Street of the Knights!

To conclude this great first day, your trip leader will take you out for the welcoming dinner of the trip. Plently of freshly made greek food will be served, family-style, with local wine, cold Rhodian beer or fresh lemonade.

Overnight Rhodes

Hiking Profitis Ilias Rhodes

The first hike of the trip begins from the traditional agricultural village of Salakos, located at the foothills of Mount Profitis Ilias and close to the sea.

Most of the route is shaded by ilex, pine, and cypress trees, creating a comfortable environment even during warmer months. The gentle incline makes this hike suitable for all fitness levels, including children, while still offering rewarding scenery and a sense of achievement.

As you climb, you’ll enjoy sweeping views of the Aegean Sea, the Turkish coastline, and nearby islands. Even experienced hikers appreciate this tour for its combination of fresh mountain air, peaceful forest surroundings, and impressive panoramas.

At the meadow, you’ll relax in a quiet picnic area surrounded by pine forest before visiting the iconic Italian-era buildings Elafos and Elafina, constructed in 1929 and 1932. Their Alpine-style architecture is a surprising and unique sight on a Greek island. You’ll also see the elegant Villa de Vecchi and visit the Byzantine church of Profitis Ilias.

After a short break and a traditional snack, you’ll begin the descent back to Salakos. Your afternoon will be free to enjoy Rhodes Town, go for a swim or just relax under the Rhodian sun.

Hiking Distance : 5,5 km

Ferry to Symi - Walk to Pedi Beach

Today, after checking out of the hotel, you will take the fast ferry towards Symi – the so-called “Princess of the Dodecanese”.

From the first moment, you will undoubtedly fall in love with this island – the colorful houses built amphitheatrically around Gyalos bay offer a panorama not to be missed!

To explore Symi’ s secrets, you will walk from Gyalos town to Pedi village. You will hike up the “Kali Strata” – a unique staircase leading to the upper village of “Chorio” known for its beautiful aristocratic mansions built alongside it. The hotel is located at Pedi Beach, a quiet bay, ideal for relaxing moments & unforgettable sunrises.

Your afternoon will be free to explore more of Symi’s town or Pedi, go for a swim and enjoy the Greek hospitality.

Walking Distance: 2,5km

Overnight Symi

Hike to Agios Emilianos - Boat trip

After a bus ride from Pedi to Roukouniotis monastery, it’s time for a great hiking day. You will first visit the monastery, a unique fortified complex of buildings which dates back to the 15th century. The hike starts from there and leads through a pine forest full of aromatic herbs & cute small chapel to the sea level where St Emilianos church is situated overlooking the Turkish coastline.

Time for a swim in the refreshing Aegean waters & a barbeque lunch with Greek mezedes on board a traditional wooden boat – “kaiki” owned by a local family. Mr Panormitis, the captain, as well as Victoria & Petros, it's kids, will have the meal ready for you to enjoy and later they will safely bring you back to the hotel after enjoying the scenic boat ride. Bonus : You will visit a sea cave on the way back!

Hiking Distance: 5km

Overnight Symi

Ferry to Tilos - Hike Livadia - Mikro Chorio

Today, you will have to say goodbye to Symi and set off for Tilos after a short ferry ride.

After leaving your luggage at the hotel, you will hike a trail which combines all you have ever dreamed of when thinking about Greece. You will start from the beautiful seaside village of Livadia and the trail leads us along the coastline to lovely beaches, including a red beach – due to the colour of its sand. Thereafter, having reached Lethra Beach, a green tree-lined paradise, we begin the ascent towards Mikro Chorio (meaning small village in Greek). Once a highly populated village, it is now deserted. Houses have been abandoned and they remain along with the narrow alleys, green courtyards and its few present inhabitants – goats. During the summer months a bar operates here from which customers can stroll around this unique “ghost” village. Picturesque as it may be, we are forced to leave it behind, in order to start our descent back towards our starting point, Livadia.

Hiking Distance: 7km

Your afternoon will be free to enjoy the seaside village of Livadia.

Overnight Tilos

Hike Agios Panteleimonas - Megalo Chorio

Today you will visit Agios Panteleimonas, a monastery built in 1531 AD by a sailor, who survived a shipwreck and had a vision of Saint Panteleimon in his dreams. As a result he decided to build the monastery to honour the saint who had saved him. And, as the myth goes, he discovered a natural spring at the spot where he decided to build the monastery! Nowadays, Agios Panteleimonas stands imposingly on top of a mountain slope, surrounded by maple trees, a juxtaposition to its harsh surroundings and a rare sight for an island. The trail starts on the outskirts of the Monastery and leads to Agios Antonios – the second harbour of the island, offering fantastic views of the nearby island of Nisiros.

You will then arrive at Agios Antonios, and then ascend to Megalo Chorio (which means Big Village in Greek). Megalo Chorio is now the capital of Tilos. Built under the protection of a medieval castle, Megalo Chorio, stands proudly overlooking Eristos, the biggest and most famous beach of the island.

Hiking Distance: 7,5km

This evening, you will enjoy the farewell dinner, exchanging funny moments of your week in Greece, amazing photos & memories that will last a lifetime!

Overnight Tilos

Ferry to Rhodes

After an easy morning, to allow yourself some time to relax and get ready to leave Tilos, you will set off for Rhodes in the early afternoon. As a group, being friends already, you will travel together from Kameiros port to the North of Rhodes island so you can go straight to the airport the same evening or add another night of two to your trip in Greece.
