Activities / Schedule

Volos – Trikeri

At 13:00, we meet at the Port of Volos, where we get to know the group and the skipper. We then settle into our cabins and organise the necessary provisions for the journey. This is followed by a briefing on how the boat operates and the basic safety rules for sailing.

Departure is scheduled for 15:00, with Trikeri as our destination. The route covers approximately 15 nautical miles and takes 2.5–3 hours.

Upon arrival, we visit the Monastery of Panagia, reached after a walk of approximately 20 minutes. Afterwards, there is time for an afternoon swim at a nearby beach before returning to the boat.

For the evening, dinner is recommended at the taverna located directly in front of our mooring point.

Total distance: 15 n.m.
Difficulty level: 1/5

Trikeri – Pontikonisi – Skopelos

We raise anchor at sunrise and set sail on the longest and most rewarding sailing leg of the journey. Waking up already at sea gives us more time to enjoy the rhythm of sailing, take in the open views, and experience life on board.

After approximately 19 nautical miles, weather permitting, we drop anchor near Pontikonisi. Surrounded by calm, clear-blue waters, we take time to swim, relax, and enjoy lunch on board in a peaceful island setting.

Around two hours later, we continue towards Skopelos Town, following the island’s dramatic northern coastline and passing the remote Gourouni Lighthouse. If time allows, we may also stop for one more swim near the small island of Tsougria.

We expect to arrive in Skopelos at approximately 19:00. The evening is yours to explore the charming streets of the town, discover local shops, and enjoy dinner at one of its traditional restaurants.

Total distance: 41 nautical miles
Difficulty level: 2/5

Skopelos – Alonissos

We begin the day with a warm Skopelos pie from a local bakery and a morning walk through Skopelos Town. At 10:30, we set sail for Alonissos.

After approximately 8 nautical miles, we arrive either at Patitiri or the picturesque harbour of Steni Vala, depending on weather conditions and availability. Along the way, we stop for a swim and a meal at a beach on Skopelos or Alonissos, such as Agios Ioannis, weather permitting, or Spartines Bay.

On Alonissos, we may visit the Historical and Folklore Museum, the MOm Information Centre in Patitiri, and the Marine Park Information Centre, where a digital experience introduces us to the Underwater Museum of Alonissos.

Later, we follow the traditional stone-paved path leading to the Old Town and explore its picturesque streets and castle. The day ends with sunset views from one of the village’s most beautiful spots and a tasting of local sweets.

Alonissos – Glossa, Skopelos or Skiathos

We set sail for Skopelos, following an approximately 18-nautical-mile route towards the island’s southern coast. The day’s stops are determined by the weather conditions.

Around midday, we stop at Panormos, one of Skopelos’ most distinctive bays, where pine trees reach almost to the water’s edge. There is time for a swim and lunch on board.

In the afternoon, we continue towards Glossa, the second-largest port on Skopelos, or alternatively to Skiathos, depending on the conditions and the day’s itinerary.

Glossa – Platanias, Pelion

Early in the morning, before the group wakes up, the skipper raises anchor and we begin the final leg of the journey.

We stop at Koukounaries Beach in Skiathos for a morning swim and a light meal on board. We then continue towards the port of Platanias, where we are expected to arrive at approximately 13:00.

From there, we return to Volos by van.
