Alpinist & Mountain Leader | Communication Strategist & Speaker

Vanessa Archontidou is the alpinist who raised the Greek flag to the highest peak in the world, Mount Everest, as a member of the first Greek women's expedition. As part of her mountaineering activity, she has participated in expeditions around the world and, through the international project "7 Summits", she has traveled to all 7 continents, reaching their highest peaks.

She is a certified Mountain Leader, leading teams on the mountain and bringing the experience of exploring and connecting with nature to a wider audience.

As a Communication Strategist and founder of AWomanCanBe.org, she designs and implements actions that connect leadership, exploration and sustainability. She is an Ambassador of the European Climate Pact, contributing to the enhancement of environmental awareness and the protection of natural landscapes which are field of exploration and outdoor activities.

Her choice as host of the anniversary event symbolizes:
