Canyoning Manikia, Central Evia

Nestled near the city of Kimi in Central Evia, Greece, the Manikia Gorge stands as one of the country's hidden gems. A short drive from Athens, this picturesque location is home to the Manikiatis River, historically known as Nedon, which gracefully flows through the gorge, maintaining its waters year-round. Join us for an adventurous day exploring the natural beauty of the Manikia Gorge and its captivating surroundings.

Our adventure begins on the outskirts of the village of Manikia in Evia, where we embark on an easy 30-minute trail leading to the river. Upon entering the gorge, the real excitement unfolds as we rappel down waterfalls and plunge into the mesmerizing blue-green "plunge pools" nestled between colossal white rocks. This earthly paradise boasts wild streams, impressive rock formations, and refreshing pools, culminating in the thrilling descent of the majestic 25m Manikiatis waterfall. Following our rappelling escapades, we continue with some River Trekking, traversing an equally beautiful route toward our exit.
