A beautiful hike, through varied and interesting landscapes, calling at the traditional village of Kolivata as well as two impressive monasteries. A true opportunity to get a glimpse on the interior of Lefkada, away from the hustle and bustle of tourism. We meet and start our circular route in the picturesque village of Kolivata at an altitude of 425m. A wonderful hike across the slopes of Mt. Skaron, with diverse and alternating landscapes. We will follow traditional stone paved trails and visit two of the most important religious monuments of Lefkada: the historic Monastery of Evangelistria’s Red Church (1458 AD) in the traditional village of Platystoma and Agios Georgios Monastery (1611 AD).
