Our Hike adventure starts from the traditional village of Eglouvi, known for its stone houses and famous lentil fields. We follow the trail through ancient rocky paths and ''moon-like'' sandy cliffs.
The trail goes through olive groves, leading to the historic Profitis Ilias Church. Perched high above, this mountaintop church offers breathtaking views, making it feel like a place where the heavens meet the earth. Our journey then leads us to the village of Karya, home to one of the most shaded plane tree squares on the island.
Visit the Karya Folklore Museum, set in a traditional old house in mountainous Lefkada, and learn about the village’s history. Admire intricate, handcrafted embroideries made by local women and discover the story of Maria Koutsochero, who created the famous 'Karsaniki stitch'—a unique handmade embroidery technique
To complete the experience, enjoy a delicious ''meze'' featuring authentic Greek products and spirits, before we head back to Eglouvi through its lentil fields.
