An ultimate rafting experience, 30 kilometers of continuous descent, into the wild nature & beauty of Arachthos river, in Tzoumerka.
Arachthos is the eighth longest river in Greece, with a length of over 110 klm. During its long route it passes through gorgeous landscapes with lush green and impressive gorges, springs gushing from crevices in the rocks, waterfalls pouring into the river and rare species of birds nesting in the distant rocks.
The Long Rafting Arachthos tour offers lots of fun, serious paddling, unique experiences on a truly memorable water route!
Our journey starts from Gkogkos Bridge, where Kalarrytikos River pours its waters into Arachthos, significantly boosting the volume and power of the river. Next, we pass through Politsa Bridge, marking the beginning of the classic route through the Arachthos Gorge. At this point, we don't miss the opportunity to visit and take a dip in the natural lake formed by the twenty-meter-high waterfall of Klifki. Throughout the route, we encounter dozens of springs gushing from the rocks with crystal-clear and potable water. Exiting the gorge, we come across the largest single-arch bridge in the Balkans, Plaka Bridge. We continue through the enchanting landscape of the Arachthos Valley until we reach Tzari Bridge in Skoupa, where our journey concludes.
Our route includes Kalarrytikos, Arachthos Gorge, and Lower Arachthos.
