Trekking Hellas — one of Greece’s leading outdoor-tour operators — is seeking a friendly, energetic, and guest-focused individual to join our team on Rhodes for the 2026 season.
This role combines leading immersive culinary and cultural tours with guest-support and coordination tasks in the office.
Workplace: Rhodes, Greece
Season: 01 April – October 2026
Schedule:
🔹 Office days: 8-hour shifts, 08:00–16:00, 6 days/week (1 day off)
🔹 Tour days: approximately 9 hours/day, including driving to tour’s destination; exact hours vary depending on tour length and bookings
Culinary & Cultural Tours:
🔹 Tasting Rhodes
- Explore Rhodes’ culinary highlights: traditional sweets, local wines, cheeses, and savory dishes
- Walk through charming villages and markets, meeting local producers
- Share stories about the traditions, and flavors of Rhodes
- Ensure a fun, safe, and engaging experience for small groups
🔹 Rhodes Traditions – Olive Oil, Cheese & Nature’s Secrets
- Discover local olive groves, cheese farms, and traditional food-making processes
- Learn and share the stories of local culinary traditions and sustainable food practices
- Guide guests through scenic landscapes, combining gastronomy with nature exploration
- Provide a memorable and immersive cultural experience
Tours are approximately 2–3 times per week; schedules vary depending on bookings.
Other Responsibilities (Office Role):
🔹 Handle daily reservations from guests (phone, email, walk‑ins)
🔹 Manage bookings: block/unblock availabilities across our platforms and internal systems
🔹 Communicate with guests: provide information about trips, send confirmations, answer questions
🔹 Collect payments from guests when needed, process cancellations or refunds (e.g., due to weather)
🔹 Plan and coordinate guest transfers (when required)
🔹 Upload and send photos from daily tours to guests
🔹 Prepare and send the daily schedule/plan to guides
🔹Ensure availability calendar is always up‑to‑date
🔹 Assist with basic social‑media posting or online content (when needed)

Who We’re Looking For:
🔹 Must be Greek, of Greek origin, or a long-term resident of Greece (living in Greece for several years), as a deep understanding of local culture, culinary traditions, language, and customs is essential to provide authentic and engaging experiences on the tours.
🔹 Friendly, outgoing, and guest-oriented personality
🔹 Passion for Greek food, cooking, and local culture
🔹 Confident speaking in front of small groups and hosting tours
🔹 Strong organizational skills for tour and schedule management
🔹 Fluent English (written and spoken); knowledge of Greek is a plus
🔹 Valid driver’s licence
🔹 Bonus: experience in tourism, food, or social media
EU citizens: Paperwork handled upon arrival.
