Overview

An 8-day adventure program in Valia Calda and Syvota that uniquely combines mountain and sea!

Our base for all adventures will be the mountain lodge-style accommodation “Casa Calda”, located in the picturesque village of Krania at an altitude of 960 meters. The village, hidden in a small valley full of cornel trees, lies in the northern Pindus mountain range and marks one of the boundaries of the Valia Calda National Park – which in Vlach means “Warm Valley.” Don’t be misled by the name: this is actually one of the coolest regions in Greece!

In this stunning natural setting of dense forests, steep cliffs, and rushing streams, we will explore and learn about our unique nature! Hiking, canoeing, kayaking, rafting, flying fox, river trekking, overnight camping, and many other exciting activities await us! But the fun doesn’t stop there! We will dedicate a full day to the seaside town of Syvota, with its enchanting sandy beaches and crystal-clear turquoise waters. Boat trip, swimming in blue waters, snorkelling, and water sports will complete this unforgettable experience.

At the heart of the program are adventure and connection with nature, while children meet new friends, develop skills, and function throughout as a team, sharing experiences and supporting each other.

All activities are conducted under the supervision of experienced Trekking Hellas guides/leaders, following all safety regulations. The program is staffed with trained guides according to the number of participants and the type of activity.

The daily activity schedule is indicative. The order of activities/days may be adjusted depending on the group’s dynamics and weather conditions.

Note: This program is active and demanding, suitable primarily for children who have previously participated in camp or outdoor programs. For children joining for the first time, we are happy to discuss the best way to introduce them to this adventure.
