Arrival in Rhodes

Rest of the day free to explore or charge your batteries for the next amazing days.

Dinner in town.

Cycling Tour in Rhodes

Today, we will cycle through the main attractions of Rhodes Town. Starting from the sea side and the two main ports, we will explore the ancient fortresses, the windmills and the statues of the two deers protecting the town of Rhodes. Next, we will enter the magnificent old town, a Unesco Heritage Monument City and we will also pass from the Moat that surrounds the area. At the end, it’s time for a refreshing swim in Elli beach, very well known for its trampoline that awaits you for picturesque jumps!

Rest of the afternoon free to relax.

Boat trip to Lindos

Today we will cruise the Mediterranean!

We will hop on the ferry from Mandraki Marina, close to our hotel.

After embarking, we will admire the Medieval Town and the fortification of the old town of Rhodes from a different angle and then we will sunbathe before reaching worldwide famous bays, like Anthony Quinn’s Bay & Tsambika. There we can swim and also snorkel while exploring the rich seabed. After a short time on board, we will reach Lindos the highlight of the trip!

There we will have approximately three hours to explore the village, optionally visit the archaeological site of Lindos and also the famous St Paul’s Bay. Lunch on the spot.

Early in the afternoon it’s time to hop on the ferry again and enjoy the summer breeze while the boat gracefully will drop us off at the harbour of Rhodes city.

Sea Kayaking Day from Kathara Beach

After a lazy morning and yummy lunch, we start our afternoon by a short transportation to Kathara Beach in Faliraki.

After teaching you all you need to know, we start paddling along the East Coast of Rhodes. The sea kayaking tour allows us to experience three of the best beaches on Rhodes from up close. On the way, we will get to admire breath-taking rock formations and the stunning colours of the Mediterranean Sea. Along the route we will even have the chance to dive into these beautiful waters, direct from your kayak – a once in a lifetime experience!

During the sea kayaking tour we will also visit some sea caves. We will also get the opportunity to snorkel and explore life below the surface of the water, once we stop at Traganou Beach. Those with an even more adventurous streak can also try cliff jumping if they so desire.

After paddling back to Kathara beach, we return back to the city.

Symi island

Today, it’s time for another tick in the Greek Islands’ list! Symi – the so-called princess of the Dodecanese Islands due to its colorful houses, lush forests and cosmopolitan atmosphere.

We will hop on the ferry to Symi with several stops on the way to enjoy the breathtaking scenery (Panormitis Monastery and St’ George bay for unbelievable swimming in turquoise waters).

Once arrived in the main village of Symi, we will first wander and take amazing pictures of the area, and then enjoy a homemade lunch.

During the return journey, have your senses alerted, since we may see dolphins accompanying us back to Rhodes!

Hike Rhodes' 3rd highest peak

After some days well spent in the sea, it’s time to explore Rhodes amazing countryside.

After lunch, we will visit Faethon – Rhodes Small Horses Association located in another typical Rhodian Village. We will learn about the special breed of these unique horses and help if needed the association with their daily chores.

Then, it’s time for a hiking adventure! We will start from Salakos, a village located on the foothills of the mountain Profitis Ilias. The path up the mountain is fairly gentle, for this reason it is also suitable for children. We walk among ilex, pine and olive trees and admire views of the Aegean Sea, the coastline of Turkey and some of the nearby islands. Once at the top we learn about the history of this unusual Greek tourist attraction. We visit some former Italian buildings built by the Italian Colonists in 1929 and 1932. All were built in an Alpine style which is a novel sighting on a little Greek island. We visit the two hotels of the time “Elafos” and “Elafina” and the “Villa de Vecci”, house of the former Italian Governor of Rhodes. No visit would be complete without a visit to the Byzantine church of Profitis Elias from which the mountain gets its name.

After we head back to Salakos, stopping on the way for the highlight of our hiking tour – the sunset! The colours of the sea, the trees and the sun calmly setting on the horizon all add to our once in a lifetime experience. And to end our hiking tour? Headtorches to light our way – the ultimate in adventure!

Dinner in the village of Salakos.

Sea Kayaking Red Sand Beach

Another sea kayaking adventure to finish an amazing trip to the Greek islands. After an easy relaxing morning and a lunch in town, we will head to a charming fishing village named Haraki. The scenery here is completely different from our other kayaking day and never ceases to amaze. On today’s ‘to do’ list we tick off the Medieval Castle of Feraklos, the golden sandy beach of Agathi and the unspoilt gem of Rhodes known as Red Sand Beach.

After having some time to swim, snorkel and relax, a BBQ will be quietly calling for your attention with its mouth-watering aromas in our peaceful picnic spot right by the sea.

This dinner will be the farewell dinner of the group, since we will head back to the starting location just before sunset!

Farewell!

Time to say goodbye to our local guides, pack up your backpacks, and head to the airport (or port) full of priceless memories!

Farewell & thank you for joining & hope to see you again on one of our adventures!
