Highlights

After an interesting dirt road ascend - descend of the spectacular Kaliakouda mountain we arrive at the riverside of Krikelopotamos. We walk along the riverbanks and in the river's crystal clear waters for about 45 minutes, arriving at the waterfalls of Panta Vrechei and its magical surrounding!

Dimitris, the owner of Trekking Hellas Evritania, met us at our hotel with the guide Dionysus and a 4x4 jeep, and provided us with an amazing day we will never forget. We started the day by driving up the Kaliakouda Pass, a road that zigzagged up and down a 1,700 meter high mountain with unbelievable alpine views. Then we hiked into Pantavrechi gorge, when it "always rain" due to the beautiful waterfalls. After a short picnic we drove to the longest zip line (Flying Fox) in Greece. even our 5 years old did the 250 m line over the river - what an amazing experience. We end up in the picturesque village of Megalo Chorio having coffee and the best Galaktoboureko (traditional dulce-de-leche cake) in Greece.
Perfect day, well organized, informative, friendly staff and reasonably priced. If you are traveling with kids (or alone) and looking for a day full of adventures, contact Dimitris. You will not regret it.

We had a 4×4 tour to the endless waterfall and the black cave.

Mike and yanis picked us from our hotel and the entire day was perfect. Both of them are professional and skilled drivers, full of knowledge, patience and love for their work. During the day, they never looked at the watch. The gave us all the time we needed to have and enjoy our day( actually, I remember in two occasions that we asked to continue).

They helped with the kids on our way to the waterfall and Mike even took the little one on his shoulder.

It was an amazing experience to walk through the small river and sit under the waterfalls of Pantavrehi. We traveled from karpenisi to the canyon Pantavrehi with the tour guy of Trekking Hellas. The route was also amazing involving (alpine zone area, huge trees, springs ) and off course nice guide info from the driver. I will definitely visit again in the future.
