Overview

All the way to Cape Sounion and the famous Temple of Poseidon.

We pic you up from your hotel in Athens and drive along the Athenian Coast, enjoying marvelous sea views. We leave the city behind us driving through the beautiful Mediterranean landscapes until we reach the beach of Cape Sounion. Here we get ready for an amazing sea kayak experience. After our equipment check and safety briefing, our tour is ready to begin. We paddle along the coast and enjoy the crystal clear waters, mighty cliffs and hidden caves.

Our first stop is in the island of Archi or on one of the beaches of Legrena for a swim and refreshing snack. Having refueled our energy we continue to Cape Sounion and the Temple of Poseidon. The temple is truly breathtaking even from sea level. Our tour also includes a visit to the Temple of Poseidon. We end this great day with a delicious Greek meal at a Greek tavern.

One of the best afternoons of my life! A calming kayak ride with George and Dimitri on the beautiful Aegian sea with a great view of the Temple of Poseidon from the water. We also had a great tour of the temple of Poseidon on land which was followed by a delicious seafood meal. George and Dimitri also told us interesting facts and stories about Greece and the temple the entire time. Truly an unforgettable experience!

Our family had a brilliant time kayaking around the Temple of Poseidon. Not only a fantastic way to view the temple which dominated the sea route to ancient Athens, but also a wonderful experience paddling beneath the cliffs on which the monument stands. The water is deep, clear and turquoise. There is a chance to swim in an isolated cove and a fantastic lunch. George is a superb guide, super-safe and great company. It was a really good experience for parents and teens, alike.

Would 100% recommend this activity! It was very well organised and more importantly so much fun.

We got picked up from our hotel in Athens and were brought to Cape Sounio, where we met our guides (fantastic guides, really nice and knowledgable).

We kayaked to the cutest remote beach for a break (including healthy snack and water) and back with the temple of Poseidon in sight. We got a really unique view of the temple! So cool.

After kayaking, we went to the temple and got 45 minutes to explore on our own. After visiting the temple we had a lovely late lunch together (I quite a few dietary restrictions which was no problem at all!) and were brought back to our hotel.

Nice addition to the trip: the guide took pictures which were send to us after the trip!
